UK Student Visa - Your finances/maintenance funds:

• From 1 October you will only need to show proof that you have the money needed, in your Personal OR Father's OR Mother's bank account, for 28-day period ending no more than one month before the date of your application

Your personal bank statement should show:

1. your name/Father or Mother's name
2. the account number;
3. the date of the statement;
4. the financial institution's name and logo; and
5. the amount of money available.

• Letter from a Bank confirming a loan

Your letter from the financial institution should show:

1. your name
2. the date of the letter;
3. the financial institution's name and logo; and
4. the money (or funds) available as a loan.
